Plainly put, and no longer than it needs to be. Anything still marked “to be confirmed” is not settled yet, so we have not pretended otherwise.
Ordering and payment
You pay at the checkout by UPI, either to our UPI ID or by scanning the QR code, and then place the order. The displayed total includes the configured flat shipping fee and any gift wrapping you selected. A screenshot is optional and only helps us match the payment faster.
UPI and QR payments remain marked pending until we match them manually. Stock is reserved when the order is accepted; if an item has sold out first, checkout stops and asks you to update the bag.
Shipping
Once a parcel is handed to the courier, the delivery time is theirs rather than ours. We will always pass on the tracking we have.
Returns and damage
If something arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, send a photograph and we will replace it or refund it. You will not be asked to pay the return postage on our mistake.
Items made or engraved to order cannot be returned unless they arrived faulty, because they cannot be sold to anyone else.
Your details and privacy
When you place an order we keep your name, phone number, delivery address and, if you give one, your email. We keep them to pack and send the order and to answer you about it. That is the whole purpose.
We do not sell or rent your details to anybody. They are shared only with the courier carrying your parcel, and only what the courier needs to deliver it.
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your bag is remembered in your own browser. If you choose cart reminder emails, we also save your bag and account email to send reminders and eligible personal offers; you can unsubscribe at any time. Otherwise, your bag never leaves your browser until you place an order. There is no analytics script on these pages.
Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you, or delete it, once any open order is finished.
Using this site
The drawings, photographs, words and code on this site belong to Salaf Stationery. Please do not reuse them for another shop.
We try to keep prices and stock correct. Where an obvious error has crept in, we will tell you before taking payment rather than hold you to it.
